Let’s go swimming with Manatees. You can swim with a Manatee in Crystal River year round. Crystal River is known as the home for one of the largest herds of wintering Manatees anywhere in the world. They are also a large population of resident Manatees that make this area their home year round. They like the Nature Coast so much that they just never want to leave. These gentle creatures enjoy the protection of the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, Kings Bay and Three Sisters Springs.

You are welcome to enjoy an awesome experience by snorkeling with the Manatees, kayaking or swimming with them while observing applicable regulations.
